The Rugged American Landscape Body is appropriately named and produced primarily for the landscape industry, although it can be used in other industries, including trash hauling or any bulk material hauling applications.
Landscape bodies are normally equipped with an underbody hoist to enable fast, efficient unloading of bulk material such as sand, mulch, and stones.
The Rugged American Platform/Stake Body is a popular body for construction and delivery because of its versatility. Products and materials can be loaded and unloaded by hand or by forklift from the ground or from a dock. Platform/Stake bodies are sometimes equipped with an underbody hoist for easy unloading capabilities.
Steel racks or composite racks can be installed to secure the loads. The Rugged American bodies are equipped with outside tie rails for securing loads, as well. When there is inclement weather, the product being delivered can be covered by a tarp to protect it.
There are a number of floor configurations available to suit whatever products are being delivered - from wood floors and variations of steel floors, to lightweight, indestructible composite floors -- certain to meet the needs of any industry.
