Rugged American Aluminum Van Bodies by The Reading Group are primarily used for transporting cargo that requires protection from the elements and must be kept secure. A few of the applications for the Rugged American Dry Freight Van Body and the Citi-Van products are furniture and appliance deliveries, small package delivery, one way and local self moving rentals, and others.
With a wide range of interior liners and cargo control devices, the Rugged American van bodies can accommodate the transporting of small items, as well as larger items that must be secured during transport. Adding forklift packages to the body will allow forklift loading and unloading of palletized materials with a forklift or pallet jack.
Van bodies can be ordered with tuck-under hydraulic tailgates for loading and unloading at docks and at street level.
